Bulldozers will come from UP to set things in Telangana: BJP's Bandi Sanjay to KCR
Hyderabad: Hitting out at the KCR government over alleged Hyderabad gang-rape case, Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar has said that the bulldozers will come from Uttar Pradesh to set things in the state.
The BJP leader further said that Telangana Chief Minister KCR and his son KTR said that drone cameras will send alerts wherever any incident takes place. "How come they failed now? Bulldozers will come from Uttar Pradesh to set things here (in Telangana)," he said, referring to the UP government's action against those found to be involved in crime. Even on Saturday, the UP Police announced that properties of those found to be involved in Kanpur violence will be either seized or razed.
A minor girl was allegedly gang-raped in a car in the upscale Hyderabad neighbourhood of Banjara Hills on May 28. So far, the police have arrested four accused including the son of a politician holding an important position in the state government. The opposition parties allege that two of the accused belong to political families. BJP MLA Raghunandan Rao also claimed that an AIMIM MLA's son was also involved in the alleged crime and some of the suspects have fled to Dubai, according to Times of India.
The state BJP chief on Saturday wrote to CM KCR demanding a CBI probe into the case. He also hit out at the chief minister saying he had destroyed the state economy. In a tweet, Kumar said: "Get ready to resign KCR, as I'll prove with evidence that ₹2.52 lakh crore was given by BJP govt to TS. Like Sri Lanka became debt-ridden country due to 1 family, TS also became debt-ridden by Kalvakuntla family. Telangana Govt Can't even pay new pensions or salaries," he said.
